Merse Wellness Spa is looking for a warm, polished and customer-focused Spa Receptionist to join our team in Holmview.

As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play an important role in creating the premium Merse experience from the moment they walk through the door. This is more than a traditional reception role — you’ll support bookings, client enquiries, sales, memberships and day-to-day spa operations while ensuring every client feels genuinely welcomed and looked after.

About the Role

As part of our Front of House team, you’ll be responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience while keeping the Spa running smoothly.

Your day will include:

• Welcoming clients, managing check-ins, bookings and enquiries
• Responding to phone, email and walk-in enquiries in a friendly and professional manner
• Building rapport with clients and creating a memorable experience at every interaction
• Supporting sales by promoting memberships, treatments, services, packages and retail products
• Processing payments and maintaining accurate client profiles and bookings
• Keeping reception, sauna, spa and client areas clean, stocked and beautifully presented
• Managing linen, stock levels and general supplies
• Completing opening and closing procedures
• Supporting the wider Spa team wherever needed to deliver a seamless client journey

About You

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and has an interest in health, beauty and wellness.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Previous reception or customer service experience, ideally within a spa, wellness centre, health club, beauty or similar environment
• A warm, confident and engaging personality
• Strong communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport
• A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service
• Confidence recommending and promoting products, services and memberships
• The ability to multitask and stay organised in a busy environment
• High standards of personal presentation and professionalism
• A proactive attitude — you notice what needs doing and get stuck in
• Confidence using computer systems and learning new technology
• Australian working rights
• Current First Aid & CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain them

Availability

Merse Wellness Spa operates Mon-Fri 5.30am-9.00pm, Weekends 7am-7pm , so we're looking for team members who have flexibility across our operating hours. As a casual role, shifts will be offered across a rotating roster including weekends, so weekend availability will be important.
