The Role
In this key role, you’ll lead the front-of-house experience, overseeing the reception team and ensuring every member interaction is seamless, energetic, and on-brand.
You’ll balance hands-on customer service with team leadership, driving performance across service, retention, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Reception team, including training, rostering, and performance management
- Manage member enquiries, overdue accounts, cancellations, and escalations
- Drive customer service KPIs and retention outcomes across the club
- Deliver exceptional in-person and phone-based member experiences
- Oversee front-of-house presentation including reception, café, retail, and cleanliness
- Utilise systems and processes to manage memberships, bookings, and purchases efficiently
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- 3+ years’ experience in a customer service leadership role
- Experience working in a KPI-driven environment with a strong results focus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and resolve issues
- A proactive, organised, and adaptable approach to work
- Passion for health, fitness, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Professional, reliable, and motivated with a strong work ethic
