The Role

In this key role, you’ll lead the front-of-house experience, overseeing the reception team and ensuring every member interaction is seamless, energetic, and on-brand.

You’ll balance hands-on customer service with team leadership, driving performance across service, retention, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the Reception team, including training, rostering, and performance management
  • Manage member enquiries, overdue accounts, cancellations, and escalations
  • Drive customer service KPIs and retention outcomes across the club
  • Deliver exceptional in-person and phone-based member experiences
  • Oversee front-of-house presentation including reception, café, retail, and cleanliness
  • Utilise systems and processes to manage memberships, bookings, and purchases efficiently

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • 3+ years’ experience in a customer service leadership role
  • Experience working in a KPI-driven environment with a strong results focus
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport and resolve issues
  • A proactive, organised, and adaptable approach to work
  • Passion for health, fitness, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Professional, reliable, and motivated with a strong work ethic
