The Role:
We’re on the hunt for an experienced and passionate Crèche Manager to lead our Kids Cartel team in our NEW club in Osborne Park. This is a part-time leadership role (15-25 hours per week) perfect for someone who’s confident managing a team, loves working with children, and thrives in a supportive, health-focused environment.
As Crèche Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering a safe, fun, and nurturing experience for the children in our care—while also managing day-to-day operations, compliance, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise children and ensure a safe, welcoming, and engaging crèche environment
- Oversee the check-in/check-out process, upholding all policies and procedures
- Manage, support and train crèche staff to deliver exceptional care and service
- Handle staff rostering and shift management
- Lead team meetings and present updates during regular club catch-ups
- Monitor and manage team performance, providing feedback and support
- Address customer feedback, concerns, and escalations professionally
- Maintain and oversee crèche cleanliness
- Ensure compliance with all childcare regulations and staff qualifications
- Complete incident reporting and maintain appropriate documentation
- Develop and implement crèche policies and procedures
- Delegate tasks and instructions effectively across the team
- Assist with recruitment and onboarding of new team members
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Previous experience in a similar childcare or crèche management role
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- A passion for health, fitness, and creating positive member experiences
- Proven ability to manage teams and rosters effectively
- Experience with customer service and handling escalations
- Knowledge of childcare compliance, incident protocols, and duty of care
- Reliable, well-presented, and highly organised
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Availability to work flexible hours aligned with gym operations
