Role Overview:
As a Club General Manager, you'll oversee the overall performance and operations of a club. You’ll work closely with our Executive Team, Regional Performance Managers, and Directors to cultivate a culture of excellence, build a strong community, and drive high-performance outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Financial & Operational Management: Oversee club budgets, member growth/retention, and EBIDTA performance.
- Big-Box Gym Oversight: Manage a facility serving 3,000+ members, featuring a crèche, retail and apparel store, and café.
- Facilities Maintenance: Ensure the club’s facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
- Team Leadership:
- Recruit, onboard, train, and retain staff.
- Mentor and support department heads through weekly meetings and performance reviews.
- Oversee staff scheduling, leave approvals, and fortnightly payroll.
- Systems & Processes: Use internal systems (e.g., Clubware, Debit Success, Gym Sales) to maintain streamlined operations.
- Event Planning: Plan and execute club events such as Open Days and 8-week challenges.
- Reporting & Analysis: Provide detailed statistical reports to measure success and identify improvement areas.

Candidate Profile:

- Proven experience managing a Big-Box Gym with 20+ staff and 2,000+ members.
- A track record of achieving KPIs and driving team success.
- Excellent communication skills—able to build rapport, empathize, and inspire.
- A growth mindset, passion for fitness, and love for sales.
- Problem-solving abilities and a proactive, "can-do" attitude.
- Customer-focused, with a commitment to delivering exceptional experiences.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to uphold policies and inspire a team.
- Reliable, professional, punctual, and well-presented.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems.
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Australian working rights.
