Fitness Cartel Health Clubs and Merse Wellness are growing rapidly, and we’re looking for a technically capable and commercially minded Digital Growth and Content Manager to lead our digital growth function across both brands.

This role combines performance marketing, organic growth, social media and content leadership. You’ll help drive lead generation, membership growth, e-commerce activity, brand engagement and revenue across our growing fitness and wellness network.

You’ll lead a small team while remaining hands-on across the tools and platforms that drive digital performance. If you understand paid media but also know the value of organic social, content and community engagement, we’d love to hear from you.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll lead digital growth across Fitness Cartel Health Clubs, Merse Wellness and associated product lines, including apparel, nutrition and retail.

Your focus will span:

• Performance marketing – paid social, paid search, lead generation and campaign optimisation.

• Organic growth – SEO, website visibility and search and AI discovery.

• Social and content – social strategy, short-form video, campaigns, community engagement and brand storytelling.

What You’ll Do

• Lead paid social, paid search and digital performance campaigns across both brands.

• Manage budgets, audiences, copy and conversion performance.

• Drive SEO, AI Overview, technical website compliance, and organic growth initiatives.

• Lead social media, content calendars, short-form video and community engagement.

• Guide and develop two direct reports, setting clear priorities and standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams, creatives and external agencies.

• Report on leads, conversion, paid return, website traffic, engagement and organic growth.

• Identify new digital trends, platforms, AI tools and e-commerce opportunities.

Who You Are

• Five-plus years’ experience across digital, growth, performance, social media or content marketing.

• Strong technical knowledge of Meta, Google and digital advertising platforms.

• Proven organic social and content experience, including short-form video.

• Working knowledge of SEO and AI-powered search and discovery.

• Experience managing people or leading a small digital team.

• Commercially minded, with an understanding of leads, sales, memberships and revenue.

• Comfortable balancing strategy with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communicator with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

E-commerce, retail, health, fitness, sport or wellness experience is highly regarded. Relevant qualifications or Google and Meta certifications are desirable.
