The Role

Ready to join a fun, supportive and fast-paced team?

We're looking for a full-time Account Care Specialist to join our growing Account Care Team at the Fitness Cartel Support Office in Virginia. If you enjoy helping people, solving problems and being part of a team that genuinely makes a difference to our members every day, this could be the role for you.

Supporting clubs across our network, you'll manage member accounts, resolve enquiries, recover outstanding balances and help deliver positive outcomes for both our members and the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage overdue member accounts, recover outstanding balances and negotiate suitable repayment arrangements.
• Assist members with billing enquiries, account variations, membership adjustments and payment updates.
• Deliver professional, empathetic customer service while encouraging member re-engagement and positive outcomes.
• Liaise with billing providers and external collection agencies while maintaining accurate account records.
• Achieve individual KPIs relating to debt recovery, productivity, compliance and member experience.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, recovery performance and overall member outcomes.

About You

• Previous experience in customer service, debt recovery, accounts receivable, account management or a KPI-driven call centre environment.
• A confident communicator with strong negotiation, conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences while balancing commercial outcomes.
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable learning new systems while maintaining accurate records and compliance.
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain) and Australian working rights.
