This is a hands-on leadership role where you will take ownership of payroll across our corporate and franchise network, ensuring accuracy, compliance and strong governance in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll across our corporate and franchise operations. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate, compliant and on-time payroll processing, managing payroll systems and controls, overseeing statutory compliance, and leading our Payroll Officer. You will play a key role in maintaining governance standards while supporting our continued franchise growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end payroll (weekly/fortnightly/monthly)
• Interpret Awards and ensure Fair Work compliance
• Oversee superannuation (including contractor obligations), PAYG, payroll tax and STP reporting
• Manage leave, commissions, terminations and reconciliations
• Oversee payroll enquiries and service standards
• Maintain payroll systems, controls and documentation
• Lead and develop the Payroll Officer

About You

• Proven experience managing end-to-end payroll in Australia
• Strong knowledge of Awards, Superannuation Guarantee (including contractor super), PAYG and payroll tax
• Experience supervising payroll staff
• High attention to detail and strong governance mindset
• Experience in multi-site or franchise environments highly regarded
