About The Role
As our Culture, Compliance & WHS Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving a positive, safe, and high-performing workplace culture across our clubs and franchise partners. You’ll provide HR and IR support, champion OpCentral compliance, and lead safety and engagement initiatives that make a tangible difference to our people and members. No two days are the same - you’ll move between clubs, connect with our leaders, and help shape the culture that defines Fitness Cartel.Key Responsibilities:
- Provide HR and IR support across Moreton Bay, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast, and franchise clubs.
- Act as the first point of contact for all P&C needs in your region.
- Analyse engagement surveys and exit interviews to drive culture and retention improvements.
- Oversee and maintain compliance in OpCentral - policies, SOPs, and training materials.
- Conduct HR and compliance audits, ensuring consistent, best-practice standards.
- Lead Club Safety Audits and manage WHS initiatives including emergency drills and water safety programs.
- Partner with leaders to strengthen workplace culture and risk management.
- Support the Head of P&C in national initiatives, policy updates, and reporting.
What You’ll bring
You’re an energetic, people-focused professional who blends HR know-how with a passion for creating safe, positive, and compliant workplaces.
- Strong generalist HR and compliance experience, ideally across multi-site environments.
- Sound understanding of WHS practices and risk management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to translate data and insights into practical culture improvements.
- High attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A genuine passion for health, fitness, and people development.
