Role Overview:
The People Partner will be a vital member of our People and Culture team, reporting directly to the Head of People and Culture. You will work closely with Club Managers, serving as the onsite subject matter expert on a variety of HR-related activities. Your role will encompass all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment (of managers), onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
In this position, you will also support change management initiatives, ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards, and drive the implementation of learning and development programs. Your expertise will help shape a positive work environment that fosters engagement and performance.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in human resources, with experience managing the full employee lifecycle. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy the challenge of balancing multiple priorities. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Proven experience in generalist HR roles, supporting managers at various levels of the organisation.
- Strong understanding of employment law and industrial relations.
- Tertiary qualifications in human resources.
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on employee relations, recruitment, and talent development.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as XERO and Op Central is a plus.
- A proactive and reliable approach, with a commitment to professional integrity.
- Ability to manage difficult conversations and navigate complex employee issues.
