As we continue to expand nationally, we’re seeking an experienced and motivated National Franchise Manager to join our team. This is a pivotal role for someone who can combine commercial strategy, operational expertise, and genuine relationship-building to support franchisee success.

The Role:

Reporting directly to the COO and CEO, the National Franchise Manager is responsible for managing the entire franchise lifecycle — from handling new franchise enquiries and territory assessments, through to onboarding, ongoing operational performance, and network brand and operational consistency.

You’ll be the key link between Fitness Cartel Head Office and our franchise partners, ensuring every franchisee has the tools, guidance, and support to run a profitable, high-performing club that embodies the Fitness Cartel brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming franchise enquiries and conduct area viability assessments and due diligence.
• Support the selection, onboarding, and successful launch of new franchise clubs.
• Drive franchisee profitability through business planning, local marketing initiatives, and revenue growth strategies.
• Provide ongoing operational support and ensure service excellence across the network.
• Monitor and analyse franchise performance using key KPIs, implementing coaching and improvement strategies where needed.
• Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
• Maintain brand integrity and operational consistency across the national network.

About You:

You’re a commercially minded leader who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. You know what it takes to build successful franchises and enjoy helping others achieve their business goals.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• 3–5+ years’ experience in franchise management, business development, or multi-site operations (fitness, retail, or hospitality ideal).
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Proven ability to coach, influence, and build lasting relationships with stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of Australian franchising compliance and operational frameworks.
